Visual Storytelling for Impactful Mentorship

The Governor’s Prevention Partnership needed a compelling mentoring campaign that would increase engagement, drive mentor sign-ups, and resonate with both youth and adult audiences across digital and print platforms. They required versatile, dynamic content that could be adapted for multiple channels while maintaining a cohesive brand identity

My Role:

I led the design and content strategy, ensuring that all assets—from social media graphics and email campaigns to print collateral and landing pages—delivered a clear, engaging message. This project required dynamic content design, where assets were built to be flexible, scalable, and easily personalized.

From Interest to Action: The Power of Personalization

To remove hesitation and boost confidence in potential mentors, we created an interactive Mentor Personality Quiz—a fun and engaging way to highlight how their unique strengths align with mentorship. The quiz helped users discover their mentor type—The Motivator, The Guide, The Cheerleader, or The Connector—making the idea of mentoring feel more approachable. To drive engagement, we developed social media graphics, a branded email automation, and custom illustrations that brought the quiz to life. This touchpoint was key in the campaign, turning passive interest into action by making it easy for potential mentors to see themselves in the role.

The Project Impact

This campaign set the foundation for scalable, engaging, and accessible mentor recruitment efforts, reinforcing the power of strategic design in community outreach and advocacy.
